Hello - Great Plug-in! Thank you for creating it. It is exactly what I am looking for, but I am having problems setting it up properly. I spent all morning trying to sort through the many options to figure it out, but I can't achieve my goal.
The web site I am creating has a "SUBSCRIBERS" category. I created a role for subscribers and want ONLY Administrators and Subscribers to be able to view this category and messages within it. Is this possible? Which settings am I looking for? (It's probably RIGHT in front of me.) thanks!

1. Go to Restrictions > Category and restrict the Post Reader role for the category in question
2. Go to Roles > Category and give the Post Reader role to the group [WP Subscriber], for the category in question.
No need to assign a role for Administrators since they will be able to read all content no matter what you do.

Thanks a lot Kevin for the plugin, i've implemented it in my website to have people contributing their articles and pages. It worked seamlessly… great! btw , do you know if there's any possibilities for users i've created to publish their posts to Facebook via Wordbook Pugin?

Sigfrido,
I don't have any experience with Wordbook. Are you seeing some kind of conflict with Role Scoper?

The Role Scoper plug-in rocks. It's just what I'm looking for. Sorting through the options at first requires some thought, but I wouldn't have it any other way as this gives me more power to manage users way better than the default tools that come with WP.
I wouldn't be surprised to see WP incorporate some of these ideas into a future version as more and more people seem to be using it as a full fledged CMS nowadays.
