Much to my disappointment, I must now present Role Scoper 1.0.0 RC6.

Anyone using Page Restrictions to limit read access should avoid using 1.0.0 RC3-RC5b. In those versions, the Page Reader restrictions for non-private pages are ineffective against logged Subscribers unless the Page Associate role is also restricted. Private pages were not affected and restriction of editing roles was not hindered.

My apologies for this rash of updates as I push for a stable version. Thanks to those of you who appreciate the features enough to put up with these bumps in the road.

Other changes in this version:

• change: Persistent File Cache is disabled (may be re-enabled once reported problems are fixed / explained)
• fixed: Next Post, Previous Post links were not filtered
• fixed: Manual calls to get_comments were not filtered (now filtered if function arguments include status=approve)
• fixed: skip_teaser flag, which must be set prior to some manual WP_Query->query calls, was not effective
